<p>The 2026 U.S. House elections are scheduled for November 3, 2026. This market resolves based on which party controls the U.S. House of Representatives following the election.</p><p>House control is defined as having more than half of the voting members of the U.S. House of Representatives. Determination will be based on a consensus of credible reporting, or if there is ambiguity, final federal and/or state election authority certification or other final official determination.</p><p>This market will resolve to “Yes” if the outcome is not ambiguous under the above rules and neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party controls the House.</p><p>If control is ambiguous under the above rules, the market will remain open until the Speaker of the House is selected following the 2026 general election. At that point, the market resolves to the party the Speaker is affiliated with at the time of their election to that position.</p><p>This market will resolve to “Yes” if (in the ambiguity fallback) the elected Speaker does not caucus with either listed party at the time they are elected Speaker.</p><p>Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No.”</p>
