Midnight Network Confirms Mainnet Launch for Late March 2026

Midnight Network has officially confirmed that its mainnet will go live in the final week of March 2026. The launch follows the ongoing Hilo testnet phase and marks the network’s first full-scale production deployment for privacy-preserving smart contracts.

Built as a privacy-focused sidechain of Cardano, Midnight is designed to enable confidential data processing while maintaining compatibility with public blockchain infrastructure. The upcoming rollout, referred to as Kūkolu, is expected to unlock live zero-knowledge-enabled smart contract functionality, providing developers with a secure production environment for building privacy-centric decentralized applications.

The mainnet transition represents a significant milestone following Midnight’s initial launch in December 2025.
